Thank you for your feedback, so glad to hear! So this is an entirely different dish from Poh Haeng so even though the noodles are the same the flavours are different. I will note it as an idea though ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™m wondering if this dish is similar to a meal at my local Thai restaurant called Poh Heang? Poh heang has Thai spices, chili paste, Napa cabbage, mushroom, onion, green onion, basil, ginger, glass noodles and typically some type of seafood. Iโ€™m trying to crack the code of Poh Heang ๐Ÿ˜€

It was amazing ! I used pad Thai noodles because I was in a pinch and it was absolutely delicious ! With mushrooms, carrots, tofu and onion toppings.

Hi! I do mean 1/4 teaspoon of each black and white pepper, so a total of 1/2 teaspoon. Things often look different on camera though, so it's hard to tell sometimes. Glad you like it with extra pepper anyway though, and people do make it super peppery sometimes!

However, watching your video, it looks as though you used closer to a whole teaspoon each for your herb paste. Was that a typo?

Nonetheless, I used a full tsp of each, and it tasted perfect. Fantastic recipe! As a cook just getting into Thai cooking, this site is a Godsend.
