Yesterday, I served this shrimps to my 10 friends during far-east dinner at my home near Warsaw,PL. All people loved them very much. Your Grandma's recepies are very valuable and let all of us keep then alive. Thanks Pailin. By the way, instead of shrimp paste in jar, I made the paste as your Grandma - using heads of shrimps !

So easy to prepare. Definitely an awesome meal when you look in freezer and say omg I have shrimp....what to do? Loved this. Many cuts above overused shrimp scampi. Thank you grandma.

I can confirm that this is similar to stir fired garlic and (white) pepper shrimp, the sauce is heavenly delicious, when you cook do at least 2 times more to soak your rise.
I also did the Gai (chicken) variant, using thighs (fry them hard to get the browning) and the shrimp paste, and it comes out as good.

Great recipe. I added two bird eye chilis to the herb paste and some angel hair pasta in the last minute of cooking. It’s such a pungent flavor and such a fast prep. Highly recommend.

I was nervous because I couldn't find oyster sauce or shrimp paste in time but WOW. I'm relatively new to cooking, and this recipe is a game-changer. My wife loved it too. Frying up the shrimp got pretty dramatic because I put a lid on it and then the condensation started falling back into the oil and going crazy, but I persevered. DELICIOUS. Excited to try it again but with shrimp paste and oyster sauce!
