I am SO grateful for your recipes. I literally dream about this soup and this recipe transports me back to all of the Bangkok street stalls I’ve eaten at over the years. I had no idea the importance of the bean sprouts and garlic oil that give this dish its unmistakable flavor. I have never been able to find this soup at any restaurant in the states and I will now be making this several times per month. Thank you!!

In reply to Mark. As mentioned in the blog post under the ingredient notes section, I wouldn't use store bought for this one as the flavours will not be as good.

In step 2 under "Stock" you mention lemongrass. That seems to be a mistake?

I have totally enjoyed cooking with your guidance the last couple of years. I'll be trying this recipe for dinner today...

Looks great! Could I use a jar of ready-made chicken or pork stock instead of bones?
