Delicious! Made with a ribeye and grilled inside on cast iron griddle pan on cooktop. I also used the boiling water method for soaking the sticky rice, and it worked perfectly. The steak was so flavorful, even before mixing with the other ingredients. Would gladly make again!

Thank you! You can omit the lemongrass, and of course you'll lose the lemongrass flavour, but it'll still be fine.

Hubby and I made this tonight for dinner. It was amazingly good! We used an off cut of sirloin that was cut into smaller pieces, so we ended up doing a quick cook on the griddle. I was concerned the raw shallots and the lemongrass was going to be too much for me, but it was great! I also loved the texture the rice powder added. Overall, we loved this and will be making it again soon!
