    Vegetables

    If you're getting tired of the same old vegetable side dishes, give these recipes a try and bring some new flavours and textures to your table! Thai cuisine uses many vegetables in ways that are different from the common Western ways, I hope you find some inspirations here.

    Here are some of my favourites to get you started:

    • Garlicky Cabbage & Fish Sauce Stir Fry. This has got to be the #1 veggie dish in my household. It's got 3 ingredients, lightning fast to make (literally 3 minutes on the stove), yet it's so incredibly delicious. This is why I make it all the time, and cabbages lasts forever in the fridge, right?
    • Kabocha Squash & Thai Basil Stir Fry. I love introducing people to this dish because most people don't think "stir fry" when they're looking at a winter squash. Kabocha is sweet, creamy, and takes only 5 minutes to cook. It'll become a new favourite! If you have leftover squash, use it in this red curry chicken recipe.
    • Salad Rolls with Creamy Dip. Not the salad rolls from your Vietnamese takeout, these cute little bite-sized rolls are the Thai version that my mom loves getting after work for her snacks. The secret is in the creamy tangy dip that has uses a surprising ingredient!
    • Gai Lan Oyster Sauce Stir-Fry
    • Thai Green Papaya Salad ส้มตำไทย (som tum)
    • Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry (Pad Pak Ruam)
    • Authentic Thai Peanut Dressing (Salad Kaeg)
    • Wing Bean Salad ยำถั่วพู (Yum Tuapu)
    • Thai Corn & Cucumber Pounded Salad (tum tang kao poad)
    • Salad Rolls w/ Spicy Garlicky Creamy Dip สลัดโรล
    • Maple Fish Sauce Brussels Sprouts
    • Stir Fried Water Spinach (morning glory) ผัดผักบุ้ง pad pak boong
    • Kabocha Squash and Basil Stir-Fry
    • Thai Long Bean Stir-Fry (pad tua fak yao)
    • Five-Spice Roasted Cauliflower
    • Grilled Eggplant Salad ยำมะเขือยาว
    • Steamed Tofu "Deluxe" เต้าหู้นึ่งทรงเครื่อง
    • Spicy Thai Brussel Sprouts
    • Garlicky Cabbage & Fish Sauce Stir Fry
    • Soy Caramel Roasted Squash with Thai Basil
    • Rainbow Rice Salad - Khao Yum - ข้าวยำ
    • Quick Cauliflower Curry Stir Fry
    • Fresh Tuna Spring Rolls ก๋วยเตี๋ยวลุยสวน (guay tiew lui suan)
    • Sweet and Sour Stir-Fry ผัดเปรี้ยวหวาน
    • Chayote & Apple Salad ตำฟักแม้ว tum fakmeaw
    • Mushroom Tom Yum (vegetarian) ต้มยำเห็ด
    • Cheesy Spinach Bake
    • Pomelo Salad (Yum Som-O) ยำส้มโอ
    • Indian Eggplant Curry (Baingan Bharta)
    • Thai Peppery Shrimp & Veggie Soup - Gaeng Liang
    • Thai Spicy Chicken & Cucumber Stir-Fry
